Dear Peotone CUSD 207U School Community,
It is my pleasure to be a part of the school community in Peotone. In my role as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, I work with the teaching staff and building administration to ensure that our students are provided with an outstanding educational experience.
Some of the responsibilities of the Curriculum Department are:
- Oversee all instructional programming for students in Preschool through 12th grade.
- Lead the curriculum review process and alignment to state standards in all content areas.
- Implement the RtI/MTSS initiative in all district schools.
- Analyze local and State assessment data to foster improvements in the areas of curriculum development and instructional practice.
- Provide professional development for all certified and classified staff.
- Administer State and Federal grants.
- Oversee the district technology department and integration of instructional technology.
